Fine Touch Occupational Health & Safety Policy

It is our company’s policy that each of our employees shall be provided with a safe and healthy environment in which to work.  To achieve this policy, management will make every reasonable effort in the areas of accident prevention, hazard control and removal, injury protection, health preservation and promotion.  These aspects of environmental conditions will be given top priority in company plans, procedures, programs and job instructions.

Environmental health and safety is both an individual and shared responsibility of all employees.  The following areas of responsibility are practiced by our company and are essential to the success of the policy:

Top Management.  Top management is required to actively pursue the goals set out in the first paragraph of this policy through the following approaches:

devising and administering a comprehensive environmental health and safety management system.
holding regular senior staff and supervisors meetings to discuss environmental health and safety performances; and
taking effective action to provide and maintain an environment that allows for safe and healthy working conditions for all employees.
Supervisors:  Supervisors will be held accountable for environment conditions under their control and to the degree of information given on environmental safety and health matters to employees.  They are to provide the initiative and follow-up action to maintain this policy within their own sections.
All employees:  Employees are to take reasonable care for the health and safety of persons at their place of work and those who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.  The success of an environmental health and safety management system ultimately rests on the willingness of everyone to co-operate and work collectively with a “team spirit” in the interests of health, safety and welfare.

Everybody's safety is important to Fine Touch.
